​The Logan County Soil & Water Conservation District is taking applications for the following position:
 
 Conservation Program Outreach Specialist
 
SEEKING A FULL-TIME EMPLOYEE TO ASSIST WITH THE PROMOTION AND IMPLEMENTATION OF CONSERVATION PROGRAMS.  THIS PERSON SHOULD POSESS PRACTICAL KNOWLEDGE OF THE   METHODS AND TECHNIQUES OF SOIL, WATER AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION
POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge of natural resource management and conservation best management practices is preferred. A degree in agriculture, natural resources or a related field is desired but not mandatory depending on qualifications and prior experience.  Applicant should have good oral and written communication skill and customer service skills.  Must be organized and be a self-starter with the ability to multi-task and work independently.  Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs is desirable.  Must have a valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.  Salary - $23.50/hour.
